Guigang

Guigang, also known as the "Lotus City", is an ancient city with more than 2,000 years of history in the southeastern part of Guangxi. Located in the Xunyu Plain and along the Yujiang River, it has long been a transportation hub and commercial town in Lingnan. 1.1 Guiping Xishan Scenic Area (National AAAA Tourist Attraction)

A famous Buddhist holy land in South China, famous for its charming forests, strange rocks, sweet springs, fragrant tea and profound Buddhism. The mountain is covered with ancient trees and clear springs. Longhua Temple and Xishi Temple are well known ancient temples. Visitors can enjoy authentic Xishan tea and vegetarian food here, and overlook the city and Xunjiang River from the top.

1.2 Beidi Mountain Tourist Area

Located in Pingnan County, known as "Little Zhangjiajie of Guangxi". It features steep peaks, dense forests, strange stones and floating clouds. There is an exciting cliff glass walkway. The scenery is beautiful in all seasons, especially ideal for hiking and photography.

1.3 Jintian Uprising Site of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom

A national key cultural relic protection unit and the birthplace of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom movement. It preserves ancient barracks, training grounds and the former residence of Wei Changhui. The exhibition hall shows the grand history of the uprising led by Hong Xiuquan in 1851.

1.4 Pingtian Mountain National Forest Park

Known as the "back garden of Guigang". It has spectacular alpine meadows, dense forests and canyon streams. Visitors can hike, camp and enjoy a panoramic view of the Yujiang Plain.

1.5 Nanshan Temple (National AAAA Tourist Attraction)

A thousand year old Buddhist temple in the southern suburbs of Guigang. Built among karst caves, it preserves precious cultural relics such as Northern Song cliff carvings, a thousandyear-old bodhi tree and the "Flying Bell" of the Song Dynasty.

1.6 QinTang Lotus Beauty Scenic Area

The core symbol of Guigang as the "Lotus City". From June to August, thousands of acres of lotus flowers bloom beautifully. Visitors can take a boat through the lotus pond, pick lotus seeds and taste lotus snacks.

1.7 Longtan National Forest Park

Known as the "green pearl on the Tropic of Cancer". It has unique Danxia landforms, subtropical forests, waterfalls and high concentration negative oxygen ions. It is perfect for forest exploration and viewing the magnificent Dateng Gorge.

A historical block with strong local life. It retains many arcade buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties to the Republic of China. The old wharf was once a famous commercial port with charming river views.
