Yellow Crane Tower
As one of China’s "Three Great Towers South of the Yangtze River", the Yellow Crane Tower perches on Snake Hill by the Yangtze River. With a history spanning over 1,700 years, it has been destroyed and rebuilt numerous times. It is not only a masterpiece of ancient Chinese architecture with its bright yellow eaves and layered structures, but also a cultural landmark celebrated in countless poems, such as Cui Hao’s Yellow Crane Tower. Climbing to the top, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Yangtze River and Wuhan’s three towns (Wuchang, Hankou, Hanyang).


East Lake Scenic Area
The largest urban lake in China, East Lake is even bigger than West Lake in Hangzhou. It integrates natural landscapes and cultural attractions, including Tingtao Scenic Area, Moshan Scenic Area, and the Cherry Garden. The East Lake Greenway is a perfect place for cycling, with willow trees lining the banks and blooming flowers in all seasons. Moshan Scenic Area features rich Chu culture elements, with relics and buildings reflecting the prosperity of the ancient Chu State. It is a natural ecological paradise in the bustling city.

Hubei Provincial Museum
A national first-class museum, it houses over 240,000 cultural relics, including world-famous treasures like the Zeng Hou Yi Chime Bells and the Sword of Gou Jian. The Zeng Hou Yi Chime Bells, dating back over 2,400 years, are a miracle of ancient Chinese bronze casting and music, still playable with perfect tones. The museum’s architectural style is a blend of Chu-style architecture, with high foundations and wide eaves, showcasing the profound cultural heritage of Hubei.


Guiyuan Temple
Founded in 1658 during the Qing Dynasty, Guiyuan Temple is one of Hubei’s most important Buddhist temples. It is famous for its 500 Arhat statues in the Arhat Hall, each with a unique expression and posture. The temple also has precious cultural relics such as ancient Buddhist scriptures and calligraphy works. The tradition of "counting Arhats" (randomly selecting an Arhat to predict fortune) has been popular among visitors for centuries, adding a strong folk cultural atmosphere.


Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge
The first highway-railway dual-purpose bridge over the Yangtze River, completed in 1957. It connects Wuchang and Hanyang, with a total length of 1,670 meters. The bridge combines modern engineering technology with traditional architectural details, such as the decorative railings and the elegant bridge towers. Walking or driving across the bridge, you can feel the grandeur of the Yangtze River flowing eastward, and it is also a great spot to watch the sunset over the river.

Qingchuan Pavilion
Facing the Yellow Crane Tower across the river, Qingchuan Pavilion stands on Yugongji in Hanyang. It is named after the line "Qingchuan clearly visible, Hanyang trees" in Cui Hao’s poem. The pavilion, together with Yujiji Palace and Tiemen Pass, forms a group of ancient buildings. It has a classical and elegant style, and from the pavilion, you can see the Yangtze River Bridge and the rolling river waves, making it a place to appreciate both cultural heritage and river scenery.

Ancient Lute Platform (Guzhantai)
A scenic spot built to commemorate the legendary friendship between Yu Boya and Zhong Ziqi, known as the "Tale of the Bosom Friend". It is said that Yu Boya played the lute here, and only Zhong Ziqi could understand his music. The platform has pavilions, corridors, and a statue of Yu Boya playing the lute. It is a quiet place full of poetic charm, symbolizing the noble friendship in Chinese culture, and attracts many literati and tourists every year.

Hankou River Beach
Stretching for 14 kilometers along the Yangtze River, Hankou River Beach is a modern urban waterfront park. It has green lawns, flower gardens, and recreational facilities, and is a favorite leisure place for Wuhan citizens. In autumn, the reeds here are in full bloom, presenting a "white wave" scene. At night, the lights along the beach are bright, and the reflection on the river surface is particularly beautiful, making it a great place to enjoy the night view of Wuhan.


Gude Temple
A unique Buddhist temple famous for its exotic architectural style. It integrates Burmese, Gothic, Islamic, and Chinese traditional architectural elements, with a magnificent and distinctive main hall. It is one of only two Burmese-style Buddhist temples in the world. The interior of the temple is decorated with exquisite carvings and stained glass, creating a solemn and mysterious atmosphere, which is very different from the traditional Chinese temples.


Mulan Cultural Ecotourism Area
Located in Huangpi District, it is a comprehensive scenic area showing Mulan culture, including Mulan Mountain, Mulan Tianchi, Mulan Grassland, and Mulan Yunwu Mountain. It tells the story of Hua Mulan who joined the army instead of her father. The area has beautiful natural scenery, with waterfalls, forests, and grasslands, as well as cultural attractions such as Mulan temples and statues. It is an ideal place to experience both ecological beauty and traditional culture.
