Jiuzhaigou Valley Scenic Area
A world-famous natural heritage and scenic area, Jiuzhaigou is renowned as a “fairy-tale world” and “paradise on earth”. It features 108 alpine lakes (called “Haizi” in Tibetan), and the six wonders of “green seas, cascading waterfalls, colorful forests, snow-capped peaks, blue ice and Tibetan customs”. Wuhua Sea (Five-Flower Sea) is famous for its colorful water colors caused by travertine deposits and light refraction. Nuorilang Waterfall, 270 meters wide, is the widest waterfall in China. Changhai is the highest and largest lake in Jiuzhaigou, surrounded by snow-capped mountains all year round. In autumn, the red and yellow leaves contrast with the clear blue water, forming a stunning picture. In winter, the lakes freeze into blue ice, and the Tibetan villages hold rich traditional activities, showing the unique charm of plateau culture.


Huanglong Scenic Area
Adjacent to Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong is a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its large-scale travertine landscape, known as the “fairyland on earth”. It stretches for 7.5 kilometers, with the main scenic area being the Huanglong Valley, where the travertine terraces are arranged like a golden dragon lying on the mountain, hence the name Huanglong. The travertine pools are of various colors, from light green to bright blue, reflecting the surrounding mountains and forests, creating a dreamlike scene. The main attractions include the Five-Color Pool, the Zhaga Waterfall and the Huanglong Temple. It is also a plateau wetland with rich biodiversity, home to many rare animals such as giant pandas and golden monkeys.


Songpan Ancient City
Songpan Ancient City, located in Songpan County, has a history of over 1,700 years, serving as an important military fortress and commercial town on the ancient Tea Horse Road. The city wall is built with stone and earth, tall and solid, with four city gates and numerous watchtowers. The ancient streets in the city are well-preserved, with traditional shops, teahouses and residential houses, showing the unique style of the border town. It is also a cultural exchange center between the Han, Tibetan, Qiang and other ethnic groups, with diverse folk customs and delicious foods. The nearby Azure Lake and the Bipenggou Scenic Area are also worth visiting.

Bipenggou Scenic Area
Bipenggou is a beautiful alpine valley scenic area in Li County, with magnificent natural landscapes. It features snow-capped peaks, glaciers, alpine lakes, forests and meadows. The valley is covered with green trees in spring and summer, and the mountains are dyed red and yellow in autumn, presenting a colorful picture. In winter, it is a world of ice and snow, ideal for skiing and snow sightseeing. The scenic area also has rich Tibetan culture, with Tibetan villages scattered in the valley, where visitors can experience the traditional Tibetan life and customs.


Xuebaoding
Xuebaoding, located in Pingwu County, is the main peak of the Minshan Mountains, with an altitude of 5,588 meters. It is a famous snow-capped mountain in western Sichuan, known as the “King of the Minshan Mountains”. The mountain is covered with snow all year round, with steep peaks and magnificent glaciers. It is a sacred mountain in the hearts of the local Tibetan and Qiang people, with rich religious legends and cultural traditions. It is also a paradise for mountaineering enthusiasts and photographers, offering spectacular views of snow-capped peaks, sea of clouds and starry sky.

Jiuzhaigou Tibetan Villages (Rize Village, Shuzheng Village)
The Tibetan villages in Jiuzhaigou, such as Rize Village and Shuzheng Village, are scattered among the beautiful alpine lakes and forests, with a long history of Tibetan settlement. The villages are built with traditional Tibetan stone houses, with flat roofs and colorful decorations, integrating perfectly with the natural environment. The Tibetan people here retain their traditional way of life, including herding, farming and handicrafts such as Tibetan carpet weaving. Visitors can enter the Tibetan houses, taste butter tea and zanba, watch Tibetan folk dances and listen to Tibetan songs, experiencing the simple and rich plateau Tibetan culture.


Zechawa Valley
Zechawa Valley is one of the three major valleys in Jiuzhaigou, located in the northern part of the scenic area. It is the longest valley in Jiuzhaigou, with a length of 18 kilometers, featuring unique plateau landscape. The valley has alpine meadows, forests and lakes, with the highest lake in Jiuzhaigou, Changhai, located at the end of the valley. Along the valley, there are many beautiful small lakes and waterfalls, with clear water and beautiful scenery. In autumn, the forests in the valley are dyed golden, red and orange, forming a spectacular colorful forest landscape, attracting a large number of photographers and tourists.
