Ancient Longzhong Scenic Area

Xiangyang Ancient City Wall

One of the best-preserved ancient city walls in China, with a history of over 2,000 years. The city wall is built along the Han River, with a circumference of about 7.3 kilometers. It has solid stone foundations and thick rammed earth walls, and the city gates are equipped with watchtowers. Walking on the city wall, you can overlook the Han River and the urban scenery of Xiangyang. The ancient city wall is a symbol of Xiangyang’s long history and an important military defense relic.

Tangcheng Film and Television Base

A large-scale ancient-style film and television base built to shoot costume dramas such as Legend of the Demon Cat. It reproduces the grand scene of the Tang Dynasty’s imperial city, with magnificent palaces, pavilions, and corridors. Gulongzhong Temple

Mi County Guan Yu Ancestral Temple

A temple built to commemorate Guan Yu, a famous general of the Three Kingdoms period. It is said that Guan Yu’s head was buried here. The temple has a grand scale, with ancient buildings such as the Main Hall, the Bell and Drum Towers, and the Guan Yu Tomb. There are many cultural relics and inscriptions in the temple, recording Guan Yu’s life and deeds. Xiangyang Museum
