Ancient Longzhong Scenic Area

The former residence of Zhuge Liang, the famous statesman and strategist of the Three Kingdoms period, where Liu Bei visited three times to invite him to assist in his career. The scenic area includes the thatched cottage where Zhuge Liang lived, the Three Visits to the Thatched Cottage Memorial Hall, and the Longzhong Academy. It is surrounded by green mountains and clear waters, with a quiet and elegant environment. Xiangyang Ancient City Wall

One of the best-preserved ancient city walls in China, with a history of over 2,000 years. The city wall is built along the Han River, with a circumference of about 7.3 kilometers. It has solid stone foundations and thick rammed earth walls, and the city gates are equipped with watchtowers. Walking on the city wall, you can overlook the Han River and the urban scenery of Xiangyang. The ancient city wall is a symbol of Xiangyang’s long history and an important military defense relic.

Tangcheng Film and Television Base

A large-scale ancient-style film and television base built to shoot costume dramas such as Legend of the Demon Cat. It reproduces the grand scene of the Tang Dynasty’s imperial city, with magnificent palaces, pavilions, and corridors. The base not only serves as a shooting location for movies and TV dramas, but also holds various Tang-style cultural activities. Gulongzhong Temple

Located in the Ancient Longzhong Scenic Area, it is a temple built to worship Zhuge Liang. The temple has halls such as the Main Hall and the Zhuge Liang Memorial Hall, with statues of Zhuge Liang and other figures from the Three Kingdoms period. The surrounding ancient trees are towering, and the environment is quiet and solemn. It is a place where people pay tribute to Zhuge Liang and feel the culture of the Three Kingdoms.

Mi County Guan Yu Ancestral Temple

A temple built to commemorate Guan Yu, a famous general of the Three Kingdoms period. It is said that Guan Yu’s head was buried here. The temple has a grand scale, with ancient buildings such as the Main Hall, the Bell and Drum Towers, and the Guan Yu Tomb. There are many cultural relics and inscriptions in the temple, recording Guan Yu’s life and deeds. It is an important place for worshipping Guan Yu and researching the culture of the Three Kingdoms.

Xiangyang Museum

It collects and displays a large number of cultural relics reflecting Xiangyang’s history and culture, including pottery, bronze, calligraphy and painting from different dynasties. The museum focuses on showing the historical status of Xiangyang as a strategic military town and the cultural features of the border area. The exhibition halls are well arranged, and the cultural relics are displayed in an intuitive way, allowing visitors to have a deep understanding of Xiangyang’s long history.

Han River Scenic Belt

A scenic area along the Han River in Xiangyang, including riverbanks, green spaces, and scenic spots. The Han River flows through Xiangyang, with clear water and beautiful scenery. The scenic belt has walking paths, viewing platforms, and leisure squares.
