1. Detian Transnational Waterfall Scenic Area

Detian Transnational Waterfall is located on the China-Vietnam border, the fourth largest transnational waterfall in the world and a 5A-level scenic spot. The waterfall has a drop of more than 70 meters and a width of over 200 meters. The water flows down from the cliff, forming a magnificent landscape with thunderous sounds. It has a long history and has been a natural boundary between China and Vietnam since ancient times. There are many legends and stories about the waterfall among the local people of the Zhuang ethnic group on both sides of the border. Visitors can take a boat to approach the waterfall, feel the momentum of the flying water, and also visit the nearby border villages to experience the folk customs of the Zhuang people in China and Vietnam.




2. Zuojiang Huashan Rock Art Cultural Landscape

As a world cultural heritage, Zuojiang Huashan Rock Art is a group of ancient cliff paintings created by the Luoyue people more than 2,000 years ago. The main rock art on Huashan Mountain covers an area of about 8,000 square meters, with more than 1,900 figures, animals and utensil patterns. The paintings are painted with red mineral pigments, and the patterns are bold and vivid, reflecting the production and living scenes, religious beliefs and military activities of the ancient Luoyue people. It is of great significance for the study of the history and culture of ethnic minorities in southern China and even Southeast Asia.




3. Mingshi Pastoral Scenic Area

Mingshi Pastoral is a beautiful pastoral landscape area with karst mountains as the background and rivers and fields as the main body. It has been praised as “a fairyland on earth” since ancient times. The scenic area has clear rivers, green fields and strange peaks. The local Zhuang people live in the pastoral area, and their stilted buildings are scattered among the mountains and fields. Taking a bamboo raft to drift along the river, visitors can enjoy the idyllic scenery, watch the farmers working in the fields, and also listen to the local Zhuang people singing folk songs, experiencing the peaceful and beautiful rural life in Guangxi.




4. Friendship Pass

Friendship Pass, located on the China-Vietnam border, is an important pass on the ancient South Silk Road, with a history of over 2,000 years. It was originally called Zhennan Pass, and was renamed Friendship Pass in 1965, symbolizing the friendship between China and Vietnam. The pass building is magnificent, with city walls and gates built of stone. It has been a strategic military place in history. Now it is an important port for China-Vietnam border trade and tourism exchanges. Visitors can visit the pass buildings, look at the border scenery, and also understand the history of China-Vietnam relations and border trade.




5. Guilong Leaning Tower

Guilong Leaning Tower, located in Chongzuo, is one of the eight major leaning towers in the world. It was built in the Ming Dynasty, with a history of over 400 years. The tower is a seven-story octagonal brick tower, with a unique shape. Due to the uneven settlement of the foundation, the tower leans to one side, but it has stood firm for hundreds of years, which is a miracle in the history of ancient Chinese architecture. There are many inscriptions and carvings in the tower, recording the history of the tower’s construction and repair. Visitors can climb the tower to enjoy the surrounding scenery and marvel at the wisdom of ancient craftsmen.




6. Chongzuo Rare Wild Animal Rescue Center

Focusing on the protection of Asian elephants and other rare wild animals, the center is an important base for wild animal rescue and protection in southern China. It covers a large area, with a suitable ecological environment. Many rescued rare wild animals live here, such as Asian elephants, gibbons and peacocks. Visitors can watch the wild animals up close, learn about their living habits, and also understand the importance of wild animal protection. The center also carries out popular science education activities, improving people’s awareness of ecological protection.




7. Longzhou Uprising Memorial Park

Longzhou Uprising Memorial Park is a patriotic education base, built to commemorate the Longzhou Uprising led by the Communist Party of China in 1930. The park includes the Longzhou Uprising Memorial Hall, the former site of the Red Eighth Army Headquarters and other scenic spots. The memorial hall displays a large number of historical relics, photos and documents, restoring the historical scene of the Longzhou Uprising. Visitors can learn about the arduous revolutionary history of the Chinese Communists leading the people in the border areas to carry out the revolutionary struggle, and feel the noble revolutionary spirit of the revolutionary martyrs.natural scenery and modern urban charm, playing an important role in China’s central rise strategy.
